Named after Isaac Asimov 's 3 Laws of Robotics The Three Laws were formed around the core of Steve Pond on Synth & Vocals and Tony Blampied on Synth.

During the bands life it also included Jo Campbell on vocals, Mary Cason on vocals, Sarah Fergusson on vocals, Mick Stupp on drums and Dead Fred on violin.

The Three Laws were active on the electro scene of the early eighties playing small clubs with bands such as Depeche Mode and Soft Cell and cult clubs such as Richard Strange 's Cabaret Futura .
