European Bat Night

The event primarily attracts a number of ecologicallly interested people, families, and children, though the event is increasingly poplular in a number of locations all over Europe . The main areas of activity are in Great Britain, France, and Germany. In Hungary, Belgium, and Poland it is also gaining popularity.

Depending on the local contributors, there are "species Exhibition s", Workshop s for constructing "bat detection kits", and "bat walks" at nighttime. Children enjoy these activities, in particular. The event is an unusual one for many of the participants, and helps build Community spirit among those involved.
