The Academy currently hosts around 1,300 of Europe's top Scientists and Artists as members (among them fifteen Nobel Laureates ), who approach the questions facing Europe and the globe in various colloquia and publications. The members of the academy are organized in seven scientific classes: I. Humanities ; II. Medicine ; III. Arts ; IV. Natural Sciences ; V. Social Sciences , Law and Economies ; VI.
