Information About

Andrew Barrowman

He signed his first senior contract at Birmingham for the start of the 2003/04 season, but played his debut match as a Crewe Alexandra F.C. player during a month-long loan spell between October - November 10 , 2003 , in a match against Bradford City A.F.C. on October 14 . He hit his first goal in his next match, a 3-0 victory against Derby County F.C. on October 18 .

Between November and the close of the season, he played one more game, at home against Leicester City F.C. .

However, in the summer of 2004, he was handed a new contract for his original club, Birmingham.

Loaned to Blackpool F.C. for the first three months of 2004/05, he stunned manager Colin Hendry by walking out after just two substitute appearances.

Barrowman made his debut as a Blackpool player against Sheffield Wednesday F.C. , coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 home loss.

Barrowman would prove never to become a regular squad member at St. Andrews. In January 2006 he signed for Walsall , where he made his debut in a 5-0 defeat to Brentford - which proved to be the final act of manager Paul Merson 's spell as manager. Barrowman gave away a penalty in this game with a bizare hand ball with the score 4-0.

However, Barrowman's fortunes improved the week after when he helped to rescue a point on his home debut. With Walsall down to 10 men, Barrowman latched onto a long ball and floated a lovely lob over the advancing goalkeeper to make it 2-2.
