DEMOGRAPHICS GEOGRAPHY HISTORY 1999 Redistribution Nanaimo-Parksville created from parts of '''Nanaimo''' and '''Parksville-Qualicum'''. MEMBER OF LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY Its MLA is Judith Reid , a former businesswoman. She was first elected in a 1998 By-election to represent the riding of Parksville-Qualicum and was re-elected in 2001 in the Nanaimo-Parksville riding.
