Domovoi Butler, usually referred to simply as "Butler", is a fictional character in the '' Artemis Fowl Series '' of books by Eoin Colfer . The Butlers had been serving the Fowls for centuries. At an early age, young Butler children would be sent to train as bodyguards. Their training would include: a customized blend of martial arts, marksmanship, information technology, first aid, and medical arts to name a few. At the end of their training, if there wasn't a Fowl to guard, they would work as bodyguards for other prominent families. Artemis Fowl's bodyguard's name is Domovoi Butler. He stands almost seven feet tall and has "muscles like a Michelangelo statue". Butler is , and that the academy Butler trained at instructed their students never to reveal their first names unless it no longer mattered. This information is used by Artemis to secretly prepare to regain their memory of the fairies after their minds are wiped. Little is known about Butler's family, besides his sister that Butler's uncle was Artemis' father's bodyguard. |
