Information About

Bill C-60

Bill C-60 was a bill before the Canadian House Of Commons which was an amendment to the current Canadian Copyright Act . It contained changes such as implementing provisions of the WIPO treaties. The bill was proposed by the now former Minister Of Canadian Heritage .

The bill also has sections which limit consumers' rights. If passed, it would have made Canadian Copyright Law more like the American DMCA .
