Their totem was the Turkey , and they have sometimes been called the "Turkey tribe" of the Delaware. The totem has no reference to the actual tribe, however, since it was merely the emblem of a geographic division. Their principal seat was Chikohoki, on the site of Burlington, New Jersey .
