A tie bar (also known as a '''tie slide''' or '''tie clip''') is an item of men's clothing. Usually made of metal, the slide clips the Tie to the fold of a shirt, preventing it from swinging and ensuring the tie hangs straight, resulting in a neat, uniform appearance.
