The mall is located northwest of Philadelphia on Mall Boulevard, near the crucial juncture of the Schuylkill Expressway ( Interstate 76 ) and the Pennsylvania Turnpike . U.S. Highway 422 and U.S. Highway 202 also meet at this interchange.

Its six department store anchors are Sears , JC Penney , Strawbridge's (closing spring 2006), Lord And Taylor , Neiman Marcus , and Nordstrom . The latter two are particularly upscale.

In addition, two of the complex's three Food Court s are located within the Plaza. The Vans shoe store in this section even features a halfpipe in the rear of its space where skateboard enthusiasts can practice their latest moves.
