Paul Tyler

The Right Honourable Paul Archer Tyler, Baron Tyler CBE (born 29 October 1941 ) is a politician in the United Kingdom .

Paul Tyler was Member Of Parliament for North Cornwall , and a member of the Liberal Democrats ' Shadow Cabinet until 2005. He was elected as Member for North Cornwall in 1992 - he had previously been elected Member for Bodmin in February 1974 , losing his seat at the October election that same year. Tyler stepped down at the May 2005 General Election . Dan Rogerson was selected by the local Liberal Democrats to succeed him.

On 13 May 2005 it was announced that he would be created a Life Peer , and on 16 June 2005 he was created Baron Tyler, of Linkinhorne in the County Of Cornwall .
