Marina Mowatt

She married Paul Mowatt , a photographer, on 2 February 1990 . It was a source of great controversy within the royal family, as Marina was five months pregnant with her first child at the time. Moreover, Marina was not married within the Church of England, instead she chose to have a simple registry wedding ... dressed in black! Her father did still give her away though.

The marriage was not a happy one, and ended in divorce seven years later on 15 October 1997 . It is alleged that Paul was physically abusive towards his wife. Since her divorce from Paul Mowatt, she prefers to be known as Marina Ogilvy.

Marina is the mother of Zenouska Mowatt and Christian Alexander Mowatt . She is 36th in the Line of Succession to the British Throne.
