Henry Cavendish, 2nd Duke Of Newcastle

In 1652 , Henry married Frances Pierrepont and they had six children:

Lady Margaret Cavendish, married the 1st Duke Of Newcastle and had issue.

Lady Elizabeth Cavendish ( 1654 – 1734 ), known as the 'Mad Duchess', married firstly, the 2nd Duke Of Albemarle ; no issue. She married secondly, Ralph Montagu, 1st Duke Of Montagu ; no issue.

Henry Cavendish, Earl of Ogle ( 1659 – 1680 ), married Lady Elizabeth Percy , no issue.

Lady Frances Cavendish ( 1660 – 1690 ), married the 2nd Earl Of Breadalbane And Holland , no issue.

Lady Catherine Cavendish ( 1665 – 1712 ), married the 6th Earl Of Thanet and had issue.

Lady Arabella Cavendish ( 1673 – 1698 ), married the 3rd Earl Of Sunderland and had issue.

Until 1676, he was styled Viscount Mansfield, and served as MP for Derbyshire and Northumberland .
