Heaven on Earth {Link without Title} are a husband and wife duo formed in England 1983 by members Joe Ortiz (from New York City) and Pauly Ortiz (From Essex, England). As a session and touring musician completing a European tour with the chart reggae group 'Inner Circle' Joe met Pauly who commissioned Joe's multi-instrumental and vocal talents for her first L.P. entitled Ladies Fire. Pauly was then professionally known as JoAnna Forte' and signed to Eagle Records UK. This album was also released on CBS Europe. In 1984, they had a son - Paul Ortiz - also a musician and composer/producer known throughout the Internet as Chimpspanner {Link without Title} . In 1987, Joe and Pauly were signed to Atlantic Records for whom they recorded and released the LP and CD entitled 'Dedication'. In the same year, they entered their song 'Love Come Down' which came in the final eight for the U.K. entries. To this day, their recordings appear to be wll sought after as rock, pop, soul and jazz classics. They have also composed and produced popular television signature themes for such programs as Heirloom, Animals in Action and Jumble. Today they manage their own multimedia business {Link without Title} providing products and services to end users as well as the industry. They still continue to compose and record new material and have a backlog of approximately some seventy albums worth of music including instrumentals. |
