The ''Chamber of Deputies'' is the name given to the Lower House of the Bicameral Legislature s of the following countries: It is also the name given to the Unicameral parliaments of the following countries: Historically, the "Chamber of Deputies" ''()'' was the lower house of parliament in the French Third Republic ; the name is still informally used for the Assemblée Nationale under the current Fifth Republic . DEPUTY Members of these parliamentary chambers are generally referred to as "deputies", with the sense of " Congressperson ", " Member Of Parliament ".
