Burnham Thorpe

Burnham Thorpe is one of The Burnhams , a group of adjacent villages in North Norfolk, and lies about 1 Mile (2 Km) to the east of the larger village of Burnham Market , and the same distance south of the village and tiny port of Burnham Overy . The small port town of Wells-next-the-Sea is 4 Miles (6 Km) to the east, whilst the larger town of King's Lynn is 20 Miles (30 Km) to the south-west and the city of Norwich is 30 Miles (50 Km) to the south-east.

The civil parish has an area of 9.56 Km&² and in the 2001 Census had a population of 168 in 81 households. For the purposes of local government, the parish falls within the District of King's Lynn And West Norfolk .
