Abd-allah Ibn Abd-al-muttalib




‘Abdu’llāh ibn ‘Abdu’l-Muṭṭalib ()‎ (545-570) was the father of Muhammad , the prophet of Islam . He was the son of Shaiba Ibn Hashim , and was married to Aminah Bint Wahab . He died on a caravan trip between Medina and Mecca.

He was famed for his beauty.

His name included the word '' Allah '' before Islam was founded. During the period before Islam, pagan Arabs called God as Allah in Arabic (and in Aramaic ).
